The Grain Trade Conference is a grand event for grain technology exchange. In the grain and oil machinery equipment exhibition area, high-tech products such as 3D grain warehouse VR experience, intelligent grain quality inspection systems, and remote warehouse monitoring systems attracted many visitors.
At the 3D Grain Warehouse VR Experience Zone of China Grain Network, visitors wearing VR glasses can immerse themselves in the management of a large grain warehouse. By clicking the corresponding buttons on the controller, the types of grains stored in each warehouse, storage time, and inventory quantity are clearly displayed. Opening the warehouse door and entering the grain storage, clicking on sensors at various points shows data such as temperature and humidity. Besides synchronized information display, operators can remotely control IoT devices inside the grain warehouse, enabling the 3D virtual space to operate in sync with the real-world IoT devices.
Staff from China Grain Network told reporters that this is part of their developed intelligent grain warehouse management system. Currently, many grain warehouses nationwide are using digital twin technology to make grain warehouse management more intelligent, visualized, and simplified, improving work efficiency and ensuring grain security.
"Equipping grain with the 'wings of technology' to make grain production, storage, and quality inspection more efficient is the necessary path for the high-quality development of the grain industry," said Zhu Daoguo, Deputy General Manager of Anhui Gaozhe Information Technology Co., Ltd. As a national high-tech enterprise, the company has established a multi-grain laboratory with 1 billion raw grain particles and 8,000TB of image data, and launched products such as grain quality analyzers, providing intelligent one-stop solutions for the grain industry.

During this Grain Trade Conference, the 3rd National Exhibition and Sale of Quality Specialty Grain and Oil Products from Poverty-Alleviated Areas was held simultaneously. Activities included production and marketing docking of agricultural and sideline products from counties designated for assistance by central and state organs, free display and sale of quality specialty grain and oil products from poverty-alleviated areas nationwide, helping these quality specialty agricultural products connect to large markets.
At the booth of Guangshan County, Henan Province, camellia oil from the Dabie Mountain area attracted much attention. Lianxing Oil Tea Company from the county showcased camellia diglyceride oil developed in cooperation with Professor Wang Yonghua's team from South China University of Technology. The company's general manager Chen Haixia said the company owns a 30,000-mu camellia planting base and an oil tea processing plant covering more than 100 mu. Through the model of "oil tea + land transfer + labor employment," it helps local villagers get rich, providing nearby employment for more than 3,000 villagers year-round.
This exhibition not only reserved the best exhibition area for 388 poverty-alleviated counties and 786 enterprises from 22 provinces (regions, cities) but also organized 18 on-site promotions of agricultural and sideline products from poverty-alleviated counties and arranged 18 live-stream sales events by enterprises, striving to break through the "last mile" of consumption assistance and production-marketing docking.
In the live-stream sales area, five live rooms were open, with different regions taking turns to promote via live streaming. He Jiaolong from the Xinjiang Quality Agricultural Products Production and Marketing Service Center sold over 1 million yuan worth of rice, flour, and oil in just over an hour of live streaming.
"Our Xinjiang safflower seed oil and Qitai flour are very popular. We are very grateful to the conference for providing such a great platform," said He Jiaolong. "In recent years, Xinjiang has continuously strengthened the entire agricultural industry chain and brand building, increased online and offline promotion efforts, promoted sales of related agricultural products, and helped many farmers increase their income and get rich."
