The history of humans building granaries for centralized grain storage spans thousands of years, with early forms including pit granaries, pottery (jar) granaries, and single-story granaries. With the Industrial Revolution and technological advancements, modern ports and large grain enterprises commonly use concrete silos and cylindrical steel plate silos. These silos have advantages such as great height, small footprint, and high automation, but also have drawbacks like long construction periods and high costs.

In recent years, a new type of square granary has gradually emerged. It retains the automated grain in-and-out functions of large cylindrical silos while featuring low cost and flexible construction, making it especially suitable for medium and small grain depots, processing plants, and large grain farmers.

Most square steel plate granaries on the market today are either welded on-site or have factory-prefabricated side panels with the rest welded on-site. On-site welding rust prevention is limited by site conditions, resulting in low rust resistance and reduced service life. Additionally, the use of single square steel beams for crossbeams leads to low rigidity, strength, and low durability, with frequent granary collapse accidents occurring, sometimes causing serious personal injuries.

Our company has developed a fully prefabricated, on-site welding-free 、 composite beam granary, with all components prefabricated in the factory and treated with high-temperature plastic spraying for rust prevention, extending service life. The innovative composite beam structure greatly improves the granary's load-bearing and seismic resistance capabilities. It has been applied in COFCO Group and Yihai Group.

Our company can undertake complete projects for the design, manufacture, and installation of square granaries, and provide a full set of single-machine equipment. According to customer requirements, functions such as automatic grain level and temperature inspection, automatic ventilation and cooling, automatic grain transfer, and automatic bin selection and grain in-and-out operations can be realized.
